Rumors of changes in ‘Pathan’, film did not get Censor Board certification

The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ is in controversy. Although the film is ready for release on January 25, people have objected to some scenes shown in it. Ever since the teaser of the film was launched, people have created trouble for the makers. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s song ‘Besharam Rang’ was released a few days ago. People of a group protested on the ‘saffron colored bikini’ worn by the actress in this song started doing. Along with this, demand that the scenes related to Deepika Padukone’s ‘saffron bikini’ be cut from the song.

Apart from this, the film ‘Pathan’ is in discussions about another news. That is, some photos are going viral on social media. Seeing them, people are also demanding some changes in the film. However, sources have revealed that till now the producers of the film have not received the certification from the censor board. It is being said in the reports that some sensuous dance moves of Deepika Padukone have also been asked to be removed from the censor board. Some scenes in the song are being said to be objectionable. Along with this, a demand has also been made to use the dialogue ‘Hamari Bharatmata’ instead of ‘Mrs Bharatmata’.

India Today has learned that as many images related to the film are going viral on social media, YRF has not got CBFC certification.

India Today has written in their news article that no instructions have been issued by the Censor Board to the producers of Yash Raj Films on all the images related to the film that are going viral on social media. Nor has any censor certificate been received. CBFC has also not issued any guidelines till now. An insider told, “Social media cannot be believed. YRF is yet to get the censor certificate from the board. Whatever changes will be made in the film, YRF will be the first to be informed. In the hands of the company Documents will be handed over, only after that any step will be taken.”

Senior trade analyst Taran Ardash said, “No decision is taken on the basis of whatever is going on on social media. I have not received any confirmation from YRF regarding the censor certificate. Will get, he will definitely share with me and then I will share with all of you. Till then we will not pay attention to whatever is going on on social media.

For information, let us tell you that Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Shahrukh Khan are going to be seen in lead roles in ‘Pathan’. After four years, his Baadshah is returning to the big screen. The film is releasing on 25 January.
